Karachi — A suspected drug dealer known as Anmol alias “Pinky” has been arrested in Karachi, revealing what investigators describe as a wide-reaching narcotics network operating across multiple cities in Pakistan.
According to initial reports, the accused allegedly began her activities in 2008 by supplying drugs at private dance parties in Karachi’s Defence and Clifton areas. It is claimed that she later adopted the nickname “Pinky” and gradually expanded her network into a more organized distribution system.
Sources allege that after a major crackdown linked to the earlier Armaghan case, she shifted her operations to Lahore and Islamabad, from where she continued coordinating drug supply chains.
Law enforcement officials claim the network included both male and female associates, facilitating the distribution of cocaine to various cities, including Karachi, and targeting universities, colleges, and online customers. The accused reportedly had over 800 clients linked to her network.
Officials further stated that some of her close relatives, including two brothers, have previously been arrested in drug-related cases.
Investigators also allege that she was involved in a clothing business in Lahore alongside her suspected illegal activities.
The Garden Police carried out the arrest in a recent operation. She was later produced in court without handcuffs, reportedly receiving what appeared to be VIP-style handling during transit, according to eyewitness claims.
Further investigations are underway to determine the full scope of the network and its connections across different cities.
