Singapore has once again secured the top position in the latest Henley Passport Index, offering its citizens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 192 destinations worldwide.
According to the updated rankings, Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates share second place with access to 188 destinations, while Sweden ranks third with 187 destinations.
Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and Spain occupy fourth place with access to 186 destinations. Austria, Greece, Malta, Portugal, and Switzerland follow in fifth with 185 destinations, while Hungary, Poland, and the United Kingdom rank sixth with 184 destinations.
Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Slovakia, and Slovenia are tied for seventh place with 183 destinations, followed by Croatia and Estonia in eighth (182), Liechtenstein and Lithuania in ninth (181), and Iceland and the United States in tenth with access to 180 destinations.
At the bottom of the index, Afghanistan remains the world’s weakest passport, providing access to only 23 destinations, followed by Syria with 26 and Iraq with 29.
Pakistan ranks 100th on the latest index, with Pakistani passport holders able to travel to 30 destinations without obtaining a visa in advance or by receiving a visa on arrival.
The countries immediately ahead of Pakistan include Yemen (31 destinations), Somalia (33), Nepal (35), Bangladesh and North Korea (36), Iran and the Palestinian Territories (38), and Eritrea (39).
The Henley Passport Index ranks passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa or by obtaining a visa on arrival, making it one of the world’s most widely recognized indicators of global travel freedom.
