LAHORE – May 2025 – The 76th World News Media Congress (WAN-IFRA) will convene in Krakow’s historic and culturally rich city from May 4–6, 2025, under the powerful theme: “Mastering Media’s New Playbook.”
WAN-IFRA (World Association of News Publishers) organized this year’s Congress at a pivotal time for the global news industry. As the world watches Poland’s democratic resurgence, largely supported by its bold and independent media, the country serves as a fitting backdrop for high-level discussions on the future of journalism.
The three-day Congress will feature three specialist tracks and interactive workshops, offering a deep dive into strategies reshaping the media landscape. Topics will include newsroom innovation, trust-building in the age of misinformation, audience engagement, AI-driven content, and sustainable business models.
