QUETTA: A horrific shooting over a property dispute claimed the lives of five members of the same family in Quetta on Monday, police said.
According to officials, the incident took place in the Chaki Shahwani area where armed attackers allegedly stormed a house and opened indiscriminate fire. A father, his three sons, and a daughter were killed on the spot.
Following the tragic incident, grieving relatives staged a protest near Badini Bridge, blocking traffic and demanding justice for the victims.
Police authorities assured the protesters of full cooperation and said legal action against those involved is underway.
