Indian cricketer, Irfan Pathan’s personal make-up artist, Fayaz Ansari died after drowning in a swimming pool in the West Indies.
Irfan Pathan, an Indian former fast bowler and now a commentator who is present in West Indies to cover the T20 World Cup 2024 disclosed the news of his make up artist Fayaz Ansari’s tragic death in the Carrebeans.
This tragic incident of Fayaz Ansari’s death who hails from Nagina in Binjor has left Irfan Pathan, his family and friends in turmoil.
Fayaz Ansari, 22 years ago, moved to Mumbai from Mohalla Qazi Sarai in Nagina Tehsil, Bijnor, and started his salon.
During this time, Irfan Pathan began visiting his salon for makeup. Subsequently, the former all-rounder made Ansari his personal makeup artist, taking him along on international trips.
Mohammad Ahmed, the cousin of the deceased makeup artist, reported that the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is currently being played in the USA and West Indies, with the Super 8 matches being held in the West Indies.
Pathan, part of the commentary team, is in the West Indies and had taken Ansari along with him. It was informed from the West Indies that on Friday evening, June 21, Ansari drowned in a hotel swimming pool while bathing. This news has left his family devastated.

According to Ansari’s cousin brother Mohammad Ahmed, he had married just two months ago and had gone to Mumbai from Nagina, Bijnor only eight days prior. The sudden accident had plunged the family into grief, with his wife and relatives inconsolable.
He mentioned that Irfan Pathan himself is handling all formalities in the West Indies to bring Ansari’s body back to India. The family plans to receive the body in Delhi, which is expected to take about three to four days.
