    Pakistani Nationals going to the UAE for work must fulfill necessary legal obligations, such as obtaining a “protector” from the Protectorate of Emigrants (PE). This procedure guarantees the legal safeguarding of Pakistani citizens employed overseas.

    Prior to leaving for a work visa, individuals must get their overseas employment agreement approved by the PE office.

    Once it is given the green light, a stamp of protection is placed on the passport. This procedure includes a cost that encompasses multiple services, such as OPF enrollment, life insurance, and OEC fees.

    The combined cost of the protector fee comes to PKR 7,200. This consists of PKR 2,500 for life insurance, PKR 2,000 for OPF registration, PKR 2,500 for overseas employment registration, and PKR 200 for OEC services.
