Indian rapper, singer and music producer Yo Yo Honey Singh has praised emerging Pakistani rapper Ghani Tiger following an impressive freestyle performance during their meeting in London.
The interaction, captured in videos circulating online, showed the Indian music star encouraging the young Pakistani artist to demonstrate his rapping abilities. Honey Singh appeared impressed by Ghani’s confidence, creativity and ability to produce spontaneous Punjabi verses.
During the meeting, Honey Singh introduced Ghani Tiger as a young rapper from Sialkot, Pakistan, before challenging him to perform a freestyle rap. He initially gave Ghani the word “Shahzada” and asked him to create a verse around it.
Ghani accepted the challenge and delivered a Punjabi freestyle highlighting his confidence and rapping skills. His performance received an encouraging response from Honey Singh, who continued the interaction by introducing another challenge.
For the second freestyle, Honey Singh suggested the phrase “Lahore di hawa,” meaning Lahore’s air. Ghani responded with another Punjabi verse, expressing appreciation for Lahore while also mentioning Honey Singh in his performance.
The Indian rapper reacted positively to the second performance, saying, “Wah, very good. Very good brother.”
The interaction continued in another video, where Honey Singh publicly acknowledged the Pakistani rapper’s abilities and gave him a special shout-out.
“Ghani Tiger, shout-out to Ghani Tiger. Great talent,” Honey Singh said, openly appreciating the young artist’s musical abilities.
The meeting highlighted a positive moment between artists from Pakistan and India, with music providing an opportunity for creative interaction beyond national boundaries.
Honey Singh, known for his contributions to Punjabi music and the South Asian entertainment industry, used the occasion to recognise an emerging performer from Pakistan.
For Ghani Tiger, receiving appreciation from an established musician represented a notable moment in his developing musical journey.
The videos documented both the spontaneous freestyle challenges and Honey Singh’s encouraging reaction, bringing attention to Ghani’s ability to create Punjabi rap verses on the spot.
The interaction also reflected how established performers can acknowledge emerging musical talent through informal meetings and public encouragement.
Although no musical collaboration was announced, the London meeting offered Ghani Tiger an opportunity to showcase his skills before a prominent figure in the Punjabi music industry.
