The gold rate in Pakistan today has seen a sharp rise, reaching Rs. 461,300 per tola for 24K gold on Friday, October 17, 2025. Prices jumped by Rs. 18,500 in a single day, marking one of the biggest daily increases this month. According to the Sarafa Jewelers Association and the International Gold Market, the 22K gold rate stands at Rs. 422,967 per tola.
The gold rate in Pakistan today reflects strong global trends and a weaker Pakistani rupee. International gold demand continues to push prices higher, with investors turning to gold as a safe asset amid market uncertainty.
Currently, 10 grams of 24K gold are priced at Rs. 395,490, and 1 gram costs Rs. 39,594. These rates vary slightly across major cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar but follow the same upward trend.
Experts say this sharp increase is influenced by fluctuations in the global gold market and economic uncertainty worldwide. If the trend continues, gold prices may rise even more in the coming days. Investors are advised to keep track of daily price updates before making purchase decisions.
