DAMAC Group has earned recognition among the Top Arab Family Businesses in the UAE by Forbes Middle East, marking another milestone for one of the region’s leading business groups.
Commenting on the achievement, representatives of the Sajwani family said the recognition was not only about business success, but also about consistency, longevity, and the strength of family unity across generations.
“The success of a family business isn’t only measured by its achievements, it’s measured by the consistency of it, the longevity, the family members working hand in hand and supporting one another, and the readiness of the next generation to carry that legacy forward,” the statement said.

The family described the recognition as an opportunity to reflect on the principles instilled by DAMAC Group founder Hussain Sajwani, including dedication, open communication, and an ambition that continuously drives growth and innovation.
The statement also highlighted the role of the UAE leadership in creating an environment where businesses and family enterprises can thrive.
According to the family, the foundations laid by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum continue to inspire businesses across the nation.
“The belief that excellence is a discipline, that hard work is non-negotiable, and that true success is only meaningful when it serves something greater than yourself — these are not just principles of leadership, they are the principles of the UAE itself,” the statement added.
DAMAC Group is widely recognised across the Middle East for its contributions to real estate, luxury developments, hospitality, and international business expansion, while continuing to position itself as a major family-led enterprise in the region.
