Big news regarding new joining of technology company Telenor’s CEO, Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer officially became the CEO of Telenor on December 2, 2024, succeeding Sigve Brekke, who led the company for over nine years.
As per media reports, prior to joining Telenor, Fasmer was CEO of Sparebank1 Sør Norge and has held leadership roles at DNB and Fremtind Forsikring. She brings wonderful experience from her work on boards such as the Oslo Stock Exchange and Vipps.
Fasmer is really excited about her new role, emphasizing the importance of listening, learning, and understanding Telenor’s business, customers, and people.
