New premium cards expand BOP’s payments offering with global acceptance and travel and lifestyle benefits
Lahore, Pakistan – November 4, 2026: The Bank of Punjab (BOP), in partnership with Mastercard, has launched Pakistan’s first Mastercard World Elite Credit and Debit Cards, expanding its premium banking portfolio and bringing a globally recognized payments proposition to customers in Pakistan.
The launch builds on BOP’s growth to become Pakistan’s largest credit card issuer despite entering the market later than established players. It marks the next step in the Bank’s efforts to translate that growth into a broader range of payment products focused on premium customers’ needs and aspirations.
Combining global payment acceptance with premium travel, dining, lifestyle, and entertainment benefits, the World Elite proposition delivers greater value for everyday spending and international travel.
