The CEO of the globally successful Saudi fast food chain Al Baik has announced plans to start operations in Pakistan soon.
As you may know, Rami Abu Ghazaleh, the CEO of Al Baik Food Systems and a senior official at Aramco, is part of a delegation of 130 Saudi investors visiting Pakistan, led by Saudi Minister of Investment Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.

Speaking to a journalist from a private Pakistani TV channel, Rami Abu Ghazaleh shared that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistani company Go Petroleum, and the initial phase of business study has begun.
He further stated that the feasibility study for Al Baik has been completed, and they are hopeful that Al Baik’s fried chicken will be available in Pakistan by next year. He added that not only will Al Baik outlets open at Saudi Aramco’s petrol stations, but they also plan to open restaurants across Pakistan.
Rami Abu Ghazaleh mentioned, “We are currently assessing and gathering necessary business information, while market research and strategic planning are ongoing.”
He emphasized that the most important aspect is that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pakistan’s reputable company Go Petroleum, which is also a partner of Saudi Aramco. They are now working together to develop a comprehensive strategy.
When asked about the secret behind Al Baik’s global success and reputation, Rami Abu Ghazaleh pointed upwards and said, “It’s the blessings and mercy of Allah. We are merely carrying forward the trust that has been bestowed upon us by Him.”
On the business opportunities in Pakistan, the CEO of Al Baik expressed his admiration for the country and its people, saying, “The people of Pakistan are beautiful and wonderful, and serving them will be a great pleasure for us.”
It is worth noting that Al Baik is the largest fast food chain in Saudi Arabia, and its brand is registered in 80 countries around the world.
