Shirmeen Khurram assigned additional role of associate director Sales at Express News

Express News has officially announced that Shirmeen Khurram will take on the additional responsibilities of Associate Director of Marketing and Sales, starting from September 1, 2024. She is working as Associate Director Sales at Daily Express.

With a media career spanning over two decades, Ms Khurram has proven her expertise in strategic marketing, brand development, and event management.

Currently serving as Associate Director of Marketing since May 22, 2006, Khurram has played a pivotal role in Daiky Express’ promotional campaigns and strategic initiatives, contributing to the network’s growth. She also spearheaded the launch of Express Tribune, positioning it as one of Pakistan’s leading English newspapers.

Before joining Express News, Shirmeen Khurram was the Station Head and News Anchor at Apna Channel, Bangkok, from 2004 to 2006, where she was recognized for her contribution to the success of the first Punjabi-language channel in Pakistan.

Prior to that, she held the role of Regional Head of Punjab Corporate Marketing at Mobile Zone (2002-2004), where she drove regional growth through innovative marketing strategies.Khurram’s educational background includes an MBA in Marketing from Imperial College, Lahore, and a BA from Kinnaird College, Lahore.

She has represented Pakistan’s media industry at international events and has been recognized for her contributions, including winning the Best Anchor Award.
