Veteran Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) scorer Najam Saeed has passed away after suffering a heart attack, his family confirmed.
His son, Mohammad Shahzaib, confirmed the news, stating that his father died due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Najam Saeed had recently performed scoring duties in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and was regarded as one of the PCB’s senior and most experienced official scorers.
He had served for many years as an official scorer in international cricket, including Test matches, One Day Internationals, and T20 Internationals, earning respect for his professionalism and long-standing contribution to the game.
His passing has left the cricket community in mourning, marking the end of a respected era in Pakistan’s scoring panel.
