Ras Al Khaimah- In commemoration of the UAE’s 52nd Union Day on December 2, the Public Service Department in Ras Al Khaimah has declared a month-long 50% discount on public fines, extending a gesture of goodwill to the community.
The initiative, aligned with the department’s commitment to raising awareness and nurturing a culture of environmental responsibility, seeks to bring joy to residents during the Union Day festivities.
Engineer Khalid Fadl Al Ali, the Director-General of Ras Al Khaimah Public Service Department, emphasized that the primary goal is to encourage individuals to address public violations by offering them an opportunity to settle fines at a reduced rate, taking into account the social and economic circumstances of residents.
This substantial reduction in fines, he explained, not only aims to promote development and compliance with regulations but also intends to minimize any inconveniences to individuals’ interests. The department sees this as a supportive measure to foster a sense of responsibility and community engagement during this celebratory period.
