The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced recruitment for dozens of government vacancies ranging from BS-11 to BS-18, offering a major employment opportunity for eligible candidates across the province.
According to the commission, candidates holding Intermediate, Bachelor’s, Postgraduate, and relevant professional degrees are eligible to apply for various positions. The deadline for submitting online applications is August 5, 2026.
PPSC has advised applicants to carefully review the application fee, written examination, interview guidelines, and eligibility criteria on its official website before applying. The commission stated that the exam schedule, syllabus, and other updates will be published exclusively on the official PPSC website.
Candidates claiming an equivalent qualification must present a valid HEC or relevant authority equivalence certificate during the interview. Those with experience in the private sector will also be required to prove that their employer was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) or another authorized regulatory body.
Government employees have been instructed to obtain or apply for the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) before appearing for interviews. Applicants for regulated professions must also ensure they have obtained or applied for the necessary registration certificates from the relevant regulatory authorities before the closing date.
PPSC further emphasized that candidates must present verified academic records showing obtained and total marks or percentage, as CGPA alone will not be accepted. The commission also clarified that shorthand, typing, and proficiency tests will be conducted only in Lahore.
Applicants have been urged to verify all eligibility requirements before submitting their applications to avoid disqualification. PPSC also noted that any future changes in the number of advertised vacancies will not require fresh applications.
