Islamabad: Onic Pakistan has announced the appointment of Mahrukh Batool as its new Head of Marketing. With over 20 years of extensive experience in marketing—17 of which were dedicated to the telecom industry—Mahrukh brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.
Mahrukh began her telecom career in September 2004 as a Team Leader in the Customer Relations Division at Telenor Pakistan. Over the next eight years, she rose to become the Head of the Media Unit, playing a vital role in the company’s marketing and media strategies.
After her tenure at Telenor, she briefly explored other opportunities, including a nearly two-year stint at Curtain Call and almost one year at Transworld as CEO. Most recently, she served as Deputy Director of Brands and Media at Zong Pakistan, where she spent 14 months contributing to brand development and media campaigns.
An alumna of Hamdard University, Mahrukh earned her MBA in Marketing and Finance between 1999 and 2001, laying a strong academic foundation for her illustrious career.
