Last year, Aamir Khan starred in the highly anticipated Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Hollywood movie, Forrest Gump, called Laal Singh Chaddha.
Despite also featuring Mona Singh and Kareena Kapoor in key roles, the movie didn’t perform well at the box office. Nearly a year after its release, veteran actor Anupam Kher shared his thoughts on the film, stating that it wasn’t a great movie and that even boycott trends wouldn’t have affected its success had it been a great film, as seen in the case of Aamir Khan’s previous hit, PK.
Kher added that the best way to overcome such trends is by producing brilliant work. Anupam Kher has several upcoming projects, including Emergency, The Signature, Metro In Dino by Anurag Basu, and IB71 with Vidyut Jammwal.
