The gold rates in Pakistan today recorded a noticeable decline as prices dropped by Rs1,400 per tola on Monday, October 20, 2025. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the local gold market followed the downward trend of the international market.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola reached Rs444,900, marking a fall of Rs1,400 during the day. Similarly, the 10-gram gold rate dropped by Rs1,200, settling at Rs382,630. In the global market, gold prices also slipped by $17 per ounce, bringing the international rate to $4,235 per ounce.
Experts say that the gold rates in Pakistan today are reflecting global price pressures and investor sentiment. Gold is still seen as a safe-haven asset amid inflation, rising geopolitical tensions, and economic uncertainty. It continues to attract investors looking for stability and protection against market volatility.
