The gold rate in Pakistan today has surged sharply, increasing by Rs. 6,900 per tola to reach Rs. 441,800 for 24-karat gold. Meanwhile, the 22-karat gold price has climbed to Rs. 405,087 per tola on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. This significant rise has been reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association.
In the international market, gold prices have also shown a strong upward trend, with rates reaching $4,210 per ounce. The gold rate in Pakistan today reflects this global movement, and all major cities — Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar — are reporting similar rates.
Experts attribute this sudden hike to fluctuations in the international gold market and the weakening of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar. These factors continue to influence local gold prices, keeping them at record levels.
Currently, 10 grams of 24K gold are priced at Rs. 378,772, while 1 gram costs Rs. 38,295. The 22K rate for 10 grams stands at Rs. 347,208.
