Veteran corporate advertising and PR executive and former BCCI official Pervez Iqbal died in Karachi on Saturday after a prolonged illness, according to a family announcement.

Pervez Iqbal, former Managing Director of BBCL and a former official associated with the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), has passed away after a prolonged illness.
According to a family obituary notice, Iqbal died on Saturday, May 30, 2026. He was the son of the late Muhammad Hidayatullah and was widely respected among family, friends, and former colleagues.
Funeral prayers will be offered at Sakeena Masjid in DHA Phase 8, Karachi, following Maghrib prayers on Saturday. He will later be laid to rest at the DHA Phase 8 Graveyard.
A prayer gathering (Dua) for the departed soul will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, between Asr and Maghrib at his residence in DHA Phase 8, Karachi.
Pervez Iqbal is survived by his wife, Shazia Iqbal, sons Asim Iqbal and Adil Iqbal, daughter Amna Bilwani, grandchildren, and other family members.
Family members have requested friends and well-wishers to pray for the deceased and for strength and patience for the bereaved family.
The news of his passing has prompted condolences from relatives, friends, and members of the business community, who remembered him for his professional contributions and longstanding associations in Pakistan’s corporate sector.
