    Babar Ahmad joins Raqami Islamic Digital Bank as Executive VP Marketing

    Babar Ahmad, former Head of Communications at Jazz, has joined Raqami Islamic Digital Bank as Executive Vice President of Marketing.

    Babar Ahmad had a significant tenure at Jazz, starting in January 2016 as Head of Products & Services. Over his nearly eight and a half years with the company, he held several key positions, ultimately leaving in July 2024.

    With over 20 years of experience, Babar Ahmad is a seasoned senior executive with expertise in P&L management. Throughout his career, he has successfully launched more than two dozen products, many of which were pioneering in their respective markets.

    Babar began his career at T-Mobile USA in 2002 as a Senior Business Analyst in Application Development. He continued to build his career until 2022, after which he moved to Pakistan. There, he held various key positions at companies like DVCOM LDI, Warid Telecom, Earth Factor, and Makat.

    Babar Ahmad earned his Master’s in Marketing Management from the Texas McCombs School of Business in 1993.
