Another Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wicket fell as Lahore chapter Coordinator Zeeshan Azmat has announced to join the Istahekam-e-Pakistan Party. (IPP).
He announced the joining after a meeting with the IPP Lahore Division President Dr Murad Raas.
Zeeshan Azmat voiced complete trust in the leadership abilities of Abdul Aleem Khan and Jahangir Khan Tareen. Dr Murad Raas extended a warm welcome to Zeeshan Azmat, highlighting IPP’s alignment with the nation’s developmental aspirations.
He also referred to the May 9 incidents as a significant historical tragedy and pledged solidarity with both state institutions and the populace.
Rana Javed Iqbal, Senior Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Lahore, has announced his decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) after a meeting with Mian Khalid Mahmood, the General Secretary of PTI Lahore Division.
Underscoring his unshakable trust in leadership, Rana Javed Iqbal wholeheartedly expressed his confidence in Party Patron-in-Chief of Istahekam-e-Pakistan Party Jahangir Khan Tareen and President Abdul Aleem Khan.
Adorned with the party’s emblematic muffler, Mian Khalid Mehmood extended a warm reception to Rana Javed Iqbal and his associates, underlining the shared dedication to advancement and prosperity.
It is pertinent to mention here that The pre-existing tensions between Tareen and Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, combined with the May 9 protests, ultimately resulted in numerous politicians resigning from the PTI and the subsequent formation of the new political party.
Around one hundred leaders from all around Pakistan attended a dinner organized by Aleem Khan, where it was revealed that the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party had been formed. The party’s leader, Jahangir Tareen, spoke about his goals on the occasion, to “fulfill the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam”, ending political and social divisions, and bringing political and economic reforms.
