THATTA: A tragic accident near Pir Jo Goth in Thatta claimed the lives of six people, including a woman, after a tractor trolley collided with overhead electricity wires.
According to police, the tractor trolley came into contact with the power lines, causing electric shocks to passengers travelling on the trolley. Several people were affected in the incident.
Police and rescue teams immediately reached the scene after receiving information about the accident. Local residents also joined the rescue operation and helped emergency personnel.
Rescue officials shifted the bodies of the deceased and the injured to the Civil Hospital for medical treatment. Hospital sources said the injured were receiving medical care, while further details about their condition were being collected.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to identify the deceased and injured individuals. Authorities said the exact cause of the accident and other details would become clear after the investigation.
The incident has left the area in mourning, while the families of the victims have been informed.
