Houthi attacks targeted Saudi cities including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran and Jazan, injuring 73 people as Saudi-led forces vowed a strong response.

Yemen’s Houthi group, Ansar Allah, has launched attacks on several Saudi cities, injuring 73 people, including women and children, according to the Saudi-led coalition.
The coalition said the attacks targeted the Saudi cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran and Jazan, striking civilian and economic facilities.
Saudi-led coalition spokesperson Colonel Turki Al-Malki said the attacks targeted civilian and economic centers and warned that the coalition would respond forcefully to Houthi operations.
Meanwhile, fighting between government forces and the Houthis has intensified in Yemen’s Al-Bayda and Al-Jawf provinces, according to Arab media reports.
Yemeni forces have also announced retaliatory operations against the Houthis. Yemeni Deputy Defense Minister Major General Sameer Al-Sabri said a decision had been made to retake Sanaa from the Houthis.
The Saudi-led coalition has vowed a strong response to further attacks by Ansar Allah.
