A burglary took place at the home of England Test cricket captain Ben Stokes, where masked individuals made off with jewelry and valuable, rare items.
Stokes took to social media to request assistance from the authorities for the return of the stolen items. The burglary incident occurred on October 17 in Castle Eden, while Stokes was in Pakistan for a Test series.
In a message on the social media platform X, he stated that at the time of the incident, his wife and two children were present at home, but fortunately, his family remained unharmed.
Stokes shared details of the incident and photos of the stolen belongings on his X account. The stolen items included his 2019 OBE award, a Christian Dior handbag, a gold ring featuring the England Cricket emblem, and some bracelets.
He noted that many of these stolen items held deep emotional significance for him and his family, calling them irreplaceable losses.
