During an interview on the show “Chocolate Times,” prominent Pakistani actor Nadia Afghan expressed her belief that Yumna Zaidi, a well-known and versatile celebrity in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, is “overrated.” The conversation revolved around dramas that portray toxic characters and promote stalking behaviors.
When asked about dramas she would choose to ban, Nadia voiced her dislike for “misogynistic” narratives in which male characters resort to violence against female characters. She emphasized her objection to dramas with violent love stories and forceful depictions of love, stating that it is unequivocally wrong. According to Nadia, it is important to respect someone’s rejection and accept it gracefully, regardless of whether the person expressing it is male or female.
Yumna Zaidi is currently starring in the highly popular drama series “Tere Bin” on Geo Entertainment, alongside Wahaj Ali.
