Sajal Aly was initially approached to play the lead role but she was not available at the time. Sehar Khan was eventually selected for the role and she did a great job. Similarly the role played by Nauman Masood was initially offered to Faisal Rehman but he declined due to the show’s dark storyline. Samiya Mumtaz’s character was initially supposed to be played by Nadia Jamil but she recommended Samiya Mumtaz for the role instead.
