US President Donald Trump has defended the attack on Iran and announced that he would launch further strikes if necessary.

Addressing an election rally in the US state of Texas, Trump said that attacking Iran was one of the best decisions of his life. He stated that if the United States had to attack Iran again, he would certainly do so.

Trump described the military operations against Iran as one of his major achievements.

The US president said that the United States had not started the war with Iran, arguing that Iran had been fighting against America since 1979 and was responsible for the deaths of thousands of American soldiers.

He also criticized former US leaders, saying they should have taken action against Iran several decades ago. According to Trump, previous American leaders lacked the courage or wisdom to take such action.

Trump further defended his administration’s military actions against Iran, presenting them as significant accomplishments.

In his address, the US president also spoke about petrol prices and the American economy. He said that petrol prices in the United States would fall significantly soon.

Trump described the current economic difficulties as temporary and said that the benefits would become apparent in the future.

His remarks included a strong defence of the decision to attack Iran, a criticism of previous US administrations for their handling of the country, and a renewed declaration that he would authorize further attacks if required.
