“In the words of Martin Luther King, ‘injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly.
Khadija Shah, a well-known fashion designer, is a victim of the ongoing tyranny in Pakistan. Despite court orders and the principles of justice, she has been repeatedly arrested and detained in fabricated cases. Isn’t it time we come together for the common good? For Pakistan to heal? Whether we are supporters of a political party or members of an institution, we are all Pakistanis and one people. Our love for Pakistan binds us, and the power of that love should overcome hate and divisions.
