Syed Noor, a director from Pakistan, responded to criticism from actress Resham after she accused him of calling her an “unlucky actress.”
The actress replied to Noor’s comment by stating that it was actually Noor who was unlucky for ending their professional partnership because of his relationship with actress Saima.
During a recent podcast featuring Ahmad Ali Butt, Resham expressed her dismay by stating, “I just listened to Syed Noor refer to me as an unlucky actress, accusing me of causing him to work on low-budget projects.” I acknowledge having participated in both successful and unsuccessful films, but who should be held accountable for that? Syed Noor used to be my preferred director, but he stopped choosing me when he developed feelings for Saima.

The actress also recognized the respect Noor displayed towards her on set and highlighted that she still holds him in high regard for the chances and knowledge he offered her at the beginning of her career.
In return, Syed Noor voiced his perspective on the matter while being a guest on Dr. Affan Qaiser’s podcast. Noor voiced his annoyance, declaring, “Resham is a smart actress, and I am happy to have brought her into the film world.” Nevertheless, she does not recognize me as her mentor. She regards only Ayub Khawar and a small group of individuals as her mentors. Even so, I do not harbor any resentment towards her.

Noor expressed pride in the part she played in her success. I don’t hold any resentment towards her, but I am curious about why she isn’t putting in as much effort at work lately or why she isn’t being considered for other opportunities. However, should a fitting part arise, I would certainly give her a role in the future.
This interaction showcases the intricate bond between the two experienced individuals in the business, with both showing admiration and holding onto emotions from their previous projects together.
