Suneel Sarfraz Munj, co-founder of PakWheels, Pakistan’s largest automotive marketplace, is facing a fresh wave of public criticism after a leaked audio clip circulated on social media in which he allegedly demanded $10,000 for an interview and made a dismissive remark about a woman’s financial standing.

The audio has drawn sharp reactions, not because of the fee demand itself but because of how he reportedly responded when the fee was questioned. According to the circulating clip, he allegedly told the woman that her budget was not even worth sixty thousand, a remark widely condemned as disrespectful and inappropriate.

A Pattern of Controversies

The audio is not an isolated incident. In recent months, Munj has faced criticism on multiple occasions. A video of him eating mangoes in a pool with a young TikToker drew ridicule. A separate video involving a signed football at the World Cup attracted similar backlash.

Each incident has generated the same question from his audience. Is this the same person whose honest, unfiltered car reviews built one of Pakistan’s most trusted automotive voices?

The Credibility Cost

Munj built his reputation on straightforward automotive commentary. That credibility is now being questioned by the same audience that elevated him. Many viewers now doubt whether his car reviews remain independent or have become paid promotions dressed as honest opinions.

The transition from credible automotive commentator to paid influencer content has cost him the one thing that made him valuable in the first place — trust.

Suneel Munj is a senior figure in Pakistan’s digital media space. His automotive expertise remains genuine. His unfiltered car reviews remain his strongest asset.

That is his lane. He should stay in it.
