In celebration of Saudi Arabia’s National Day, the Saudi Ministry of Commerce has granted 5,000 sales permits to various businesses and shopping centers. And allowing them to offer 37 million items at reduced prices.
As reported by newspaper 24, this nationwide sale event will span to four days.
The Ministry of Commerce has distributed 2,241 permits to businesses, 436 to e-commerce platforms, and 2,040 to other establishments.
During this year’s National Day festivities, consumers will have the opportunity to purchase discounted food items, electronic devices, appliances, fragrances, smartphones, men’s and women’s apparel, as well as children’s clothing.
In an earlier statement, the Ministry of Commerce cautioned consumers against falling victim to deceptive ‘Fake Discount Sales’ and advised them to exercise vigilance.

The statement emphasized that consumers could ascertain the authenticity of commercial offers and sale prices by scanning the barcode on the discount permit using their mobile phone’s camera.
Scanning the barcode will provide comprehensive information about the sale and its terms.
