The Sabzazar couple murder case has shocked Lahore after a man allegedly shot dead his brother-in-law and sister-in-law before setting their house on fire in Sabzazar’s N Block. The tragic incident occurred on Friday morning, reportedly as an attempt to destroy evidence. Police said the suspect was arrested soon after the incident.
According to police reports, the accused entered the home of 43-year-old Samar Abbas and his 40-year-old wife, Kulsoom Bibi, and opened fire, killing both on the spot. After committing the murders, the suspect set the house ablaze before trying to flee. Police and rescue teams reached the scene quickly and brought the fire under control.
The Sabzazar couple murder case took place just after the couple had returned home from dropping their children at school. Investigators confirmed that the victims were alone at the time of the attack.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a financial dispute led to the killings. Police said the accused had borrowed money from his brother-in-law after selling his wife’s jewellery. When he later asked for more money, Samar Abbas refused to help, which enraged the suspect. The tension grew over time and ended in this tragic double murder.
Punjab Police have launched a detailed investigation and collected forensic evidence from the crime scene. Authorities have assured that justice will be served and the accused will face strict legal action for this brutal Lahore crime.

What a *shocking* way to handle a family dispute! Setting a house on fire after a financial spat? Now thats truly *breaking news*! Wonder what the 10-tier grading system will rate this level of problem-solving? At least the Punjab Police are on it, quick arrest and all. Though I guess justice in Lahore now means the accused gets a strict legal action experience? *Digitaloggia* better cover the trial – should be a *must-read* crime story!remove watermarks ai
