After a short stint, Rauf Klasra, Pakistan’s leading anchor and investigative journalist, has departed from Talon News. He served as the host for the channel’s highly popular show, ‘Muqabil with Rauf Klasra.’
Rauf Klasra became a part of Talon News following a meeting with the channel’s media consultant, Yousaf Baig Mirza. Concerns about mismanagement at Talon News surfaced, especially in light of the team captain’s departure—Mirza Yousaf Baig, a well-known media personality, who has gained fame for building teams in new channels and subsequently departing with substantial financial gains. The teams he had put together encountered a crisis after YBM’s exit, the same happened at Talon News
Rauf Klasra officially announced the closure of his show through a post on Twitter/X.
My show has been closed. Tonight will be my last show at Talon News Channel. Broadcasting media brings new challenges almost on daily basis. Its never easy. A tough field indeed.
I am grateful to my team members who have always been a huge support and really worked hard to make…— Rauf Klasra (@KlasraRauf) December 7, 2023
