Syed Rameez Mukhtar, a highly experienced and accomplished sales and marketing executive in the media industry, has recently joined Neo Group as the Group Director of Sales. With his energetic and creative approach to broadcast media, Rameez brings a wealth of expertise in media sales and marketing.
Before joining Neo Groups, Rameez served as the Manager of Sales at Time News/Mun TV for nearly a year. In 2019, he took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at GTV, where he also assumed additional responsibilities as the Director of Operations until 2022.
Rameez’s professional journey began in 1999 at Manhattan International before transitioning to the media industry in 2005. He joined KTN Group as the Group Head of Marketing & Sales, where he made significant contributions to repositioning a regional channel during his seven-year tenure with the group.
In 2013, Rameez joined TV One Group and navigated the challenging landscape of channel sales for five successful years. He also spent a brief period from 2018 to 2019 at Sony POP.
Beyond his professional achievements, Rameez is an ex-vocalist of Fusion band, known for delivering top-notch melodies. He completed his master’s degree in Marketing from South East University, London, in 1999.
