Islamabad: Umar, a 22-year-old man from Faisalabad, has been arrested for the murder of 17-year-old TikTok star Sana Yousaf. According to police, Umar had proposed to Sana multiple times, but she rejected him on each occasion. Investigators believe these repeated rejections may have motivated him to commit the crime. He had also reportedly tried to meet her on her birthday, May 29, but was unsuccessful.
Sana was shot and killed inside her home in Islamabad’s G-13 sector on Monday. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal Police Station. Initial reports suggest that the suspect may have been allowed into the house as a guest. Police say he shot her at close range before fleeing the scene.
