Diesel and Kerosene Prices Also Likely to See a Cut
In addition to petrol, high-speed diesel prices may see a reduction of 97 paisa per litre. The price of kerosene oil is expected to drop by Rs. 2.75 per litre, while light diesel oil may become cheaper by Rs. 1.64 per litre. OGRA Finalizes Petroleum Price Calculations
The petroleum industry has completed its calculations and submitted them to OGRA (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority). These calculations determine the expected change in fuel prices in Pakistan, based on international oil trends and local adjustments.
Ministry of Finance to Approve New Petrol Prices
OGRA will now forward its summary to the Petroleum Division, which will then submit it to the Ministry of Finance. After consultation with the Prime Minister, the ministry will give final approval for the new petrol prices in Pakistan tomorrow.
