Is Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif proposing the formation of a coalition government (PDM ll) after offering to join hands for governance? This is the question circulating in political circles.
Until the results released by the Election Commission are taken into account, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly with 69 seats. The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is in the second position with 51 seats. Both PML-N and PPP were key allies in the PDM government after the removal of Imran Khan’s rule.
A significant number of independent candidates backed by PTI have also been successful. Although their number exceeds that of PML-N members, since they did not contest elections on the party ticket, it cannot be said that they are the ‘sole’ major party in the National Assembly until they form a group themselves.
A roadmap for governance in the center has been presented.
There are two options: 1st, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) forming a government by joining hands with its allies MQM-Pakistan, PML-Q, MMA, and independent candidates.
The second option is to form a coalition government with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
In both cases, a simple majority could lead to forming the government. The head of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, addressed workers in Model Town Lahore on Friday evening, stating that Shahbaz Sharif has been tasked with taking action today on this matter and to meet with Asif Ali Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and MQM leaders to discuss current conditions in Pakistan and that we all should come together to steer this ship out of troubled waters.

It is also being said that in the coming days, Islamabad and Lahore will be the centers of political activities to form a PTI-like government.
It is also being said that some winning independent candidates are in contact with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and some with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Analysts closely observing Pakistan’s politics are also expressing the view that there are possibilities for a PTI-like government to be formed in the country. Parties could join hands and cooperate.
Such alliances have occurred in the country’s politics before. Remember that former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif said in his address on Friday night at the party headquarters in Model Town Lahore that “In these elections, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has emerged as the majority party, but we respect the mandate of other parties.”
Nawaz Sharif said, “I understand that we must pull this country out of the quagmire. We have pulled the country out of difficulties before, and we are doing so again today.”
“I want to tell you that we respect the mandate of all parties, whether they are a party or an individual, we respect them. We invite them too to come and join us to get Pakistan out of this crisis.” He said, “We have to work for at least 10 years to stabilize Pakistan and bring it out of difficulties.”
