    اوائل نوے کی دہائی میں پاکستانی پنجابی سینما بالخصوص قبالی وڈ سینما کی اس طرز کی فلمیں دیکھ کر پروان چڑھی جنریشن پر اس کے اثرات اور نقصانات اگلی پوری جنریشن جھیل رہی ہے۔

    اسی اور نوے کا پنجابی سینما سلطان راہی کے گرد گھومتا ہے۔سلطان راہی کو دیکھنے والوں کی ایک خاص سوچ اور مائنڈ سیٹ تھا۔ پسماندہ غیر خواندہ اور مزدور طبقہ پنجابی فلموں کو مقبول اور سلطان راہی کو ایک ایکسٹرا اسٹنٹ مین سے ہیرو کے درجے پر لے آیا تھا۔

    ان فلموں کی کہانی اور کرادار چند گنی چنی چیزوں اور واقعات پر چلتے۔ عورت کمزور، فارغ، کسی بھی دفتری اور نوکری پیشہ کام سے عاری چار دیواری میں رہ کر مرد کی عزت کا مان رکھنے والی اور اور ایک ایسےآرگن کے طور پر چلنے والی دکھائی گئی جس کی حفاظت کرنا بھائی اور محبوب کی ذمہ داری ہوتی۔ ماں آفاقی محبت کا استعارہ ہوتی۔ ہیرو کی زبان کھوکھلی سرداری، عزت اور آبرو جیسے ڈائلاگ سے اٹی ہوتی۔ ولن زیادہ تر عورت کی عزت لوٹنے کے درپے ہوتا اس کا مقصد پریکٹیکل زندگی میں کبھی سمجھ نہیں آیا۔ ان فلموں کی بدولت عورت کی عزت کا موضوع نہایت برے طریقے سے ذہنوں میں پیوست کیا گیا۔ 

    اداکاری فلم میکنگ اور مزید ایسے تکنیکی پہلوؤں پر بات کرنا مقصود نہیں مگر کہانی موضوع اور آرٹ کے ساتھ ساتھ اس میدان میں بھی ہر گراونڈ کا بیڑا غرق تھا۔ مضحکہ خیز قہقہے، بدھی مصنوعی مونچھیں ، زبردستی اداکاری کرنے کی کوششیں، گاڑیوں کے دور میں گھوڑوں کا غیر ضروری استعمال، ساؤنڈ، کیمرہ اینگلز، کوریوگرافی اور سینماٹوگرافی پر اڈھائی گرام دماغ کا استعمال بھی نہیں کیا جاتا تھا۔

    ان فلموں کا دور ختم ہوا۔ بہت مشکل سے ختم ہوا۔ مگر جرثومے پیچھے چھوڑ گیا۔ شان معمر رانا اور شفقت چیمہ ہوسکتا ہے اچھے اداکار ہوں مگر ڈائرکٹرز پر سلطان راہی کی کامیاب ہوئی پنجابی فلموں کی چھاپ اور لالچ اس قدر تھا کہ انہوں نے ان اداکاروں سے بھی سلطان راہی کی لیگسی ہی زندہ رکھی مگر دور بدل چکا تھا۔ بالی وڈ بھی اپنے اجے، میتھن، سنجے دت، اکشے کمار اور اینگری ینگ مین امیتابھ بچن کو کھینچ کر سیریس اور تجرباتی سینما کی جانب لے آیا تھا۔

     آرٹ، معاشرتی موضوعات اور بائیوگرافی فلمیں بننے کا رجحان بڑھا۔ لالی وڈ تباہ ہوچکا تھا کیونکہ اردو سینما میں  معیاری کہانی کا قحط تو شروع سے تھا مگر وحید مراد اور محمد علی کے بعد فلمی ہیرو بھی کوئی نہیں تھا۔ 

    محض سید نور کی چند  پنجابی فلمیں عید کے موقع پر تین دن پی ٹی وی پر رات کے وقت دکھائی جاتی۔

    اس وقت لالی وڈ اپنی فلموں کا یونرا بدل کر سینما بچا سکتا تھا۔ مزاح اور آرٹ فلموں پر توجہ دی جاتی۔ ہالی وڈ سے جدید کیمرہ ساؤنڈ اور فلم میکنگ کی تکنیک اکسپورٹ کی جاتیں۔ معین اختر جیسے اداکاروں کو ٹی وی تک محدود رکھا گیا اور بڑے رائٹرز اچھا کام صرف ٹی وی کے لیے کرتے رہے۔ یہاں گئیر بدلنے کی ضرورت تھی سینما ضیاء کے دور سے نکل چکا تھا ڈائریکٹر قدرے آزاد تھے مگر انہوں نے آزاد ماحول میں بھی وہی قفس زدہ فلمیں بنا کر دیکھنے کو پیش کی۔ 

    سینما کا رول اب پوری دنیا سمجھ چکی ہے۔ یہ کیسے کسی کلچر کا حصہ بنتا ہے اور نیا کلچر اس کی اسکرین سے کیسے جنم لیتا ہے اس کی اسکرین کس قدر حساس موضوعات کا احاطہ کرنے کے لیے استعمال کی جاسکتی ہیں سینما سے فیشن اور ملبوسات کا ارتقاء کیسے ہوتا ہے سوچنے کے نئے زاویے کس طرح کردار اور کہانی سے دیکھنے والے کو دیے جاتے ہیں۔ روایات اور ٹیبو توڑ کر انسانی سہولیات پر استوار اقدار کس طرح عام زندگی میں ایک سہل طریقے سے رائج کی جاتی ہیں۔ سینما کسی بھی معاشرے کا عکاس ہوسکتا ہے اگر اس کے اجزائے ترکیبی میں خیانت نہ کی جائے۔

    غور نہ بھی کریں تو یہ لائن کس قدر ڈسٹربنگ ہے۔ بلال لاشاری یوتھ کو سمجھتا ہے اچھا پڑھا لکھا بھی ہوگا کم یا زیادہ انٹلکچوئل لیول کا بھی حامل ہوگا مگر یہ ڈائلاگ جس میں وہی پچاس سال پرانی ذہنیت کہ جس میں مرد کی دہشت سے عورت کا دبک جانا اس کی کوکھ کا دہل جانا شامل ہو کس سوچ اور کس مقصد کے ساتھ فلم میں دکھا سکتا ہے۔ 

    فلم موسیقی کہانی فن اور آرٹ کا بائیکاٹ سراسر ظلم ہے مگر اس طرح کی فلم اس طرح کے عورت مخالف توہین آمیز مکالمے کس طرح برداشت اور نارملائز ہوسکتے ہیں؟
