On Friday, Pakistan experienced a drop in gold rates, with 24-karat gold slipping to Rs218,000 per tola and 22-karat at Rs199,833 per tola.
Even in smaller quantities, the appeal persisted, with 10 grams of 24-karat gold at Rs186,900 and 22-karat at Rs171,325.
These price changes are directly tied to fluctuations in the US Dollar value, emphasizing the close connection between currency values and gold prices.
Globally, gold prices have taken a dip, currently standing at $2,040 per ounce.
It’s important to note that gold prices in Pakistan can vary significantly throughout the day, influenced by global market trends.
