Numan Nabi Ahmed has been elected Chairman, with Jawwad Humayun serving as Senior Vice Chairman and Nida Haider as Vice Chairperson.

The remaining CEC members are Ahmed Jamal Mir, Natasha Durrani, Farhan Khan, Asad Ansari, Tabish Hasan Shah, Khalid Saleem and Athar Saleem.
Outgoing Chairman Receives Standing Ovation
The meeting opened with outgoing Chairman Ahmed Kapadia briefing members on the initiatives the previous CEC undertook over the past two years. Members gave Kapadia a standing ovation in recognition of his leadership in building what was described as a new and stronger brand identity for the association.
New Chairman Outlines Vision
In his address, Chairman Numan Nabi Ahmed thanked members for their confidence and outlined a collaborative approach to his tenure. He said he believes in teamwork, relationship-building, and learning from experience to shape future planning.
To ensure continuity with the outgoing CEC’s work, Ahmed proposed forming an Advisory Group, which the house approved. Ahmed Kapadia will chair the group as Chairman Emeritus, with Aleem Durrani, Zeeshan Khan and Salman Mansur as members.
Ahmed called on the new CEC to work closely with the Advisory Group to strengthen the PAA with clearly defined goals.
Regulatory Framework and Membership Growth on the Agenda
The new leadership said the CEC and Advisory Group will jointly develop a regulatory framework covering new membership and inter-agency relationships. Sub-committees will be formed shortly, and the Secretariat will circulate details to members.
Zonal Chairmen have been given a specific mandate to drive membership growth and to coordinate with their respective information departments to streamline working relationships with agencies.
Chairman Ahmed also called on all stakeholders, including the government, to work together to create an enabling business environment, noting that the industry faces new and evolving challenges.
MediaBites congratulates Chairman Numan Nabi Ahmed and the entire newly elected Central Executive Committee on their election. We wish the new leadership and the Advisory Group every success as they work to strengthen the Pakistan Advertising Association and build a more enabling environment for the advertising industry across Pakistan.
