A very sad news from Guyana, a tragic incident unfolded during a football match in Guyana’s second-largest city, Nzerekore.
According to international news agencies, tragedy strikes among spectators escalated into a deadly clash, leaving more than 100 people dead.
A doctor at a local hospital revealed the horrific scene, saying, “As far as the eye can see, there are only bodies, both inside the hospital and in the hall. Even the morgue is overflowing with corpses.”
Hospital authority confirmed that nearly 100 bodies were present in the hospital and morgue, while another doctor reported dozens more being brought in.
Media reports indicate that videos allegedly showing the clash have been circulating on social media, but their authenticity remains unverified. However, the viral footage depicts bodies lying inside and around the stadium.

Local sources from Nzerekore revealed that enraged protestors later set local police station on fire.
An eyewitness told a international news agency, “It all began when the referee made a controversial decision during the match. Following the decision, spectators stormed the ground, and chaos broke out.”
