NORTHAMPTON: Pakistan women’s cricket captain Nida Dar has made history by taking the most wickets in Women’s T20 Internationals ever. He won this unprecedented title during Pakistan’s 65-run loss to England at The County Ground, which was a part of the three-match T20 series.
Nida Dar, a leg spinner, reached this landmark by stumping Alice Capsey in the 12th over, which is the same as Megan Schutt of Australia’s record of 136 wickets. She got her 137th wicket away by dismissing Amy Jones from the crease, remaining at the top of the table with 137 wickets from 141 innings.
