MediaBites extends its heartfelt congratulations to Natalie Cabieses on her new role as News Director at KCCI-TV. After joining KCCI-TV as Associate News Director in February 2024, she has now been elevated to the position of News Director in March 2025, marking a significant milestone in her impressive journalism career.
With nearly a decade of experience in broadcast journalism, Cabieses has built a strong reputation in the industry. Before joining KCCI-TV, she worked at WISN-TV from June 2021 to January 2024, and prior to that, she served at WFTV from May 2018 to June 2021.
She started her journey in the media world as a Producer at Waterman Broadcasting (May 2015 – May 2018), honing her skills in news production and editorial management.

Cabieses holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Central Florida, where she studied from 2012 to 2015. Her academic background, combined with her hands-on experience in leading newsrooms, positions her as a dynamic and forward-thinking leader in the television news industry.
