Nasir Mahmood Khosa, hailing from Dera Ghazi Khan, is a retired Pakistani civil servant who belonged to the prestigious Pakistan Administrative Service. Throughout his career, he achieved the highest attainable rank for a serving officer, BPS-22. In 2010, he was promoted to the esteemed position of Federal Secretary.
Khosa’s civil service tenure is marked by exemplary achievements and notable assignments within the bureaucracy. He had the privilege of serving as the 22nd Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, where he held a crucial role in the country’s governance. Additionally, he took on the responsibilities of Chief Secretary for both Punjab and Balochistan provinces, assuming key administrative leadership in these regions. From 2013 to 2017, Khosa also served as an executive director at the World Bank, showcasing his expertise on an international platform.
It is worth mentioning that Nasir Mahmood Khosa is the brother of former Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Tariq Khosa, who served as the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency. Furthermore, he is the maternal cousin of former Governor of Punjab, Latif Khosa.
