Pakistan’s sensational fast bowler Naseem Shah has undergone successful shoulder surgery that forced him to miss the ICC World Cup 2023.
His manager shared the update, stating that Naseem Shah is in good spirits after the minor procedure and will soon return to action.

However, he is expected to be out of action for three to four months. The injury occurred during Pakistan’s game against India in the Asia Cup 2023, leading to his withdrawal from the tournament.
Hasan Ali has replaced him in Pakistan’s World Cup squad. The ICC World Cup 2023 will feature 10 teams competing in India from October 5 to November 19, with a round-robin format and the top four teams advancing to the semifinals.

The ICC World Cup 2023 will take place in India with 10 teams fighting for the elusive title across 10 venues from October 5 to November 19, with the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosting the tournament opener and the final.
The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals, which will be held in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16. The semi-finals and the final will have reserve days.
