NAB has cleared Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Khawaja Salman Rafiq of any wrongdoing in the Paragon Housing Society Reference. The Accountability Court of Lahore, at the request of NAB, forwarded the reference to the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
In its report, the NAB stated that after a thorough investigation, no evidence of corruption or misconduct was found on the part of Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Salman Rafiq.
As a result, the NAB concluded that there was no justification for pursuing further legal action against the Khawaja brothers in connection with the Paragon Housing Society case.
The report also pointed out that while the Paragon Housing Society had received approval from Aziz Bhatti Town, it had not been officially endorsed by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), which serves as the regulatory body for such matters.

Consequently, the NAB recommended that the LDA should address any minor complaints or issues related to society, as it falls under their jurisdiction.
As a result of the NAB’s findings and recommendations, the Paragon Reference was sent to the LDA by the Accountability Court of Lahore, indicating that the NAB no longer saw the need to pursue legal action against the Khawaja brothers in this particular case.
