Asim Jamil, the son of the renowned Islamic scholar, Maulana Tariq Jamil has lost his life on a fateful Sunday. This heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Tulamba Tehsil, Khanewal Punjab.
In the initial reports, it was indicated that the unconscious body of Asim Jamil was transported to Tulamba Hospital. DPO Khanewal, Rana Umar Farooq Salamat, verified the unfortunate event, confirming that Asim Jamil had been fatally shot, sustaining a bullet wound to his chest.

In a somewhat perplexing twist, a nephew of Tariq Jamil claimed that Asim Jamil had taken his own life, introducing an element of uncertainty to the circumstances.
Maulana Tariq Jamil himself shared the somber news of his son’s passing on Twitter. In his message, he conveyed the tragic news:

“My son Asim Jamil passed away today in Tulamba. This accidental death has cast a shadow of mourning over us.” The religious scholar humbly requested, “We ask you all to keep us in your prayers during this grievous time. May Allah grant my son a high place in Jannat (paradise).” This heartrending incident has left many with heavy hearts and prayers for the departed soul.
