Pop superstar Madonna stunned thousands of fans with a surprise performance in New York City’s Times Square, transforming the iconic location into a massive open-air dance party during Pride Month celebrations.
The 67-year-old music icon delivered a high-energy 15-minute concert on Thursday night to promote her newly released album, Confessions II.

The singer made a dramatic entrance wearing a skintight pink corset layered over a frilly bodysuit and blue bra, paired with pink gloves, thigh-high stockings, silver knee-high boots, blue-tinted sunglasses, and a chunky diamond necklace.
The surprise pop-up concert featured dancers, a DJ, and a rotating stage, creating a nightclub atmosphere in the heart of Manhattan.
Fans quickly flooded social media with videos and photos as crowds gathered to watch Madonna perform classic hits, including Hung Up and I Love New York, from her 2005 dance album Confessions on a Dance Floor.
The performance came just one day after the release of “Confessions II,” widely seen as the sequel to one of Madonna’s most celebrated dance albums.

While promoting the new project, Madonna described the album as “a love letter to dance music and to all the spaces and communities that create it or enjoy it.”
“The dance floor isn’t about a specific space or building, it’s wherever we gather to dance, celebrate, and connect,” she said.
Earlier this week, the singer also marked the beginning of Pride Month with a social media message reading: “Nothing like a Mother’s Love… Happy Pride Month.”
Madonna has remained highly active in recent months. In April, she made a surprise appearance during Sabrina Carpenter’s performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, marking two decades since she headlined the festival herself.
She is also scheduled to headline the first-ever halftime show at the FIFA World Cup 2026 alongside Shakira and BTS on July 19 at MetLife Stadium.
